What do we want

 
 

Advocacy Group members advocate for:

  1. Greater participation of civil society organizations and other stakeholders in reform of vocational education and training in Serbia through further institutional development;
  2. Harmonization and bringing in relevant legislation in the area of vocational education and training as a mutual process of relevant Ministries and other stakeholders;
  3. Defined and designed education process and development of human capital adjustable to changed circumstances in Serbian public, political, social and entrepreneurship life;
  4. Created flexible system of initial and continuous vocational education that offers general knowledge and values necessary for individual’s personal development, professional enhancement and career development.

The specific objectives of this Project are:

  1. To introduce Serbian wide public with the causal relationship between the current system of education and the rising unemployment in Serbia as one of the most problematic issues in the Serbian society, i.e. present the current situation on the Serbian labor market, the gap between the world of education and the world of labor, as well as consequences of this misbalance
  2. To gather, mutually introduce and inform all relevant stakeholders in the area of the vocational education on the importance and their own individual roles in the process of reform of education,
  3. To present the role of the relevant elements of civil society – stakeholders in the process of reform of education,
  4. To introduce and publicly announce design of specific elements of the reform of education (curricula, methodologies, competencies, outcomes, life-long learning, etc) that need to be addressed by the variety of civil society structures – vocational education stakeholders.
